Our Vision

What is our aim?

To help girls to become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and, through self-control, reverence and a sense of responsibility to find true enrichment of life.

Why a uniformed organisation?

The uniform encourages a sense of belonging and responsibility, and helps to create and maintain discipline and self-respect.  It prevents barriers that can arise because of various economic and social backgrounds.

What does the Brigade offer?

An award program helping girls to grow: Spiritually, Intellectually, Socially, Physically and mature as active, responsible citizins.  Models of Christian living shown by trained, caring and reliable leaders and opportunities to develop their own christian commitment and experience.  Training in leadership through a well resourced Leadership Development Program which starts at an early age and offers formal training and experience from age 14.  Experiences that challenge through our Pioneer Pin, Queen's Award and Duke of Edinburgh Award programs for all girls aged 14 plus.
